Muscle Relaxing Injections have gained in popularity over the years for several reasons. It's less invasive than a face lift and the results are visible within 1-2 weeks.

A lot of women worry that wrinkle-relaxing treatments may ruin their facial expressions or lead to a frozen-looking forehead that doesn't move when they laugh, smile, or frown. However, wrinkle-relaxing treatments affect only the tiny muscles being directly treated, not the surrounding muscles. This way, when you laugh or frown, the untreated muscles work normally so your expressions still look like you. Muscle Relaxing Injections are best used for:

• Reducing frown lines between the eyes
• Smoothing out forehead lines
• Reducing crows feet

Procedure

During wrinkle-relaxing treatments, Bot-tox injections are administered using very fine sterile disposable syringes. Very low doses of Bot-tox are injected into the small muscles that cause wrinkles. Each injection relaxes these muscles, smoothing the lines. Once these tiny muscles are relaxed, they no longer contract to form wrinkles, thus stopping the formation of frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet and existing lines are much less pronounced because the underlying muscles are totally relaxed. A typical treatment of the whole forehead and crow's feet area takes less than ten minutes.

Results

Muscle Relaxing Injections give you a noticeable temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines, creating a subtle, more relaxed look. The prick from the needle is visible immediately after having the Bot-tox administered, most of the evidence is gone within twenty four hours. Your results should last about three to four months, although the results may last longer with repeated treatments.

• enhance the size and shape of your lips
• reduce crow’s feet
• reduce laugh lines
• fill out your cheeks.

The most appropriate lines to treat with fillers are those that are described as static—this means lines you can see when your face is still. Also they are used to enhance, or ‘plump up’, your lips, for soft, subtle results that leave you looking your best.

Dermal Fillers

Our dermal filler is a scientifically advanced gel created to quickly and easily correct fine lines and wrinkles. It is the only dermal filler made from a special blend of absorbable medical polymers. Fillers are administered via injection using a fine needle to provide a cushion that fills lines in the face, thereby smoothing out the face and restoring volume.

Pure

Unlike many other types of filler, our filler is free of animal and bacterial by-products and is totally biocompatible with the human body. Plus, it is not chemically cross-linked, which eliminates the risk associated with chemicals that may trigger inflammation and hypersensitivity reactions.

Smooth

Hyaluronic acid fillers are composed of tiny gel particles, which give them a granular, sand-like texture. Our filler does not contain any gel particles, making it the purest and smoothest filler available.

Immediate

Fillers are a non-surgical, non-permanent treatment that's administered in by our qualified nurse. Improvement with fillers is immediate. The procedure takes around an hour and a noticeable improvement follows immediately. The effects are long lasting and usually start to wear off anywhere between 6-12 months, however we work with you to determine the ideal "touch-up" schedule to maintain your desired results.

Skin Peels

We offer 3 types of peel ranging from superficial to medium depth peel. Advice on which type of peel is most suitable can be given dependant on medical history and skin type. Take home products play a vital role in optimising your in-clinic treatments and the use of a good SPF is mandatory.

Glycolic skin peel

This is a superficial peel and very quick procedure. Extracted from sugar cane and buffered with willow herb, it provides great exfoliation, leaving the skin feeling smooth, soft and clean. There is rarely shredding of the skin or redness, so it is an ideal treatment for special occasions. A course of 6 treatments is recommended for optimal results, providing general skin care improvement to all ages and skin types, and is suitable for even the most sensitive of skins.

TCA Peel (Trichloroacetic Acid)

This peel can vary from superficial to medium depth and offers more dramatic results over a shorter period of time, and is a quick procedure to carry out. Follow up products and a high SPF are mandatory. Some skin shredding is inevitable in the following days, but is reduced by regular applications of the recommended moisturiser. For dramatic and optimal results, a once weekly cycle of 4 peels is required.

ICP Peel

This is a one off peel that helps to reduce pigmentation of the skin. The peel is applied and left in place for 6-8 hours, where it is then removed at home. All required products for the follow up skin care regime are included in the price. The peel has dramatic effects aiding skin rejuvenation. For deep pigmentation further treatments may be required.
